We welcome grant applications for the Research Priority Area on Sustainability (BRIDGES) within Faculty for Behavioral and Social Sciences (FMG). Proposals should be explicitly linked to the RPA (Research Priority Area) goals of facilitating sustainability research across FMG departments.

Call for Applications

Five S grants of €5.000 are designed to set up larger and more impactful projects. Recipients of S grants are encouraged to apply for further stages (starting 2025).

About S Seed Grants  

  • Budget: max €5.000
  • Eligibility: Researchers with their main affiliation at the FMG may serve as main applicants (including postdocs). PhD candidates may serve as co-applicants with their supervisors’ approval.
  • Pilot funding can be used for participant payments, surveys, travel, research materials, research assistant hours, computing, workshops, or other costs. Funding can be used for new projects or to add a new sustainability-related goal to an existing project. The funding cannot be used for personnel costs such as teaching buy-out.
  • Project teams consist of at least 2 FMG members from two different departments. External researchers are welcome to participate in the project but are not grant recipients.
